1. Service description
AskMention ("the Service") is an AI visibility audit tool operated by Gerrit Halfmann. The Service scans your website across AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude) and provides reports, scores, and recommendations to improve your visibility in AI-generated responses.
2. Account and access
- You create an account by providing your email address. We use passwordless authentication via magic links.
- You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account.
- You may not share your account or use the Service on behalf of others without authorization.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Free and Pro plans
- Free plan — includes a basic AI visibility scan, GEO Score overview, schema generator, and llms.txt generator. No payment required.
- Pro plan — $49/month, billed monthly via Stripe. Includes all Free features plus technical analysis, citability scoring, competitor tracking, Prompt Lab, action plan, LinkedIn writer, PDF export, and daily re-scans.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
4. Payments and cancellation
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal.
- When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] if you believe a refund is warranted.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to scan websites you do not own or have authorization to scan.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service beyond normal use.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harm others.
- Submit URLs that host malicious content.
6. Intellectual property
- The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by Gerrit Halfmann.
- Scan reports and generated content (schema markup, llms.txt files, LinkedIn posts) are yours to use freely.
- We may use anonymized, aggregated scan data to improve the Service and publish benchmarks.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- AI visibility results are informational and based on point-in-time queries to third-party AI platforms. We do not guarantee that implementing recommendations will result in specific visibility improvements.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
